I'm guessing that the returning mechanics will be Ninjutsu and Splice(onto *spelltype* instead of Arcane), and we'll probably get at least 2 new mechanics or a returning mechanic from a non-Kamigawa set that fits with the theme, like how VOW has Exploit from Khans block.
