I mean, I'd assume it's drawing or crushing down with wheels like usual. Wires aren't typically made by casting, as far as I know. Source: watching a zillion episodes of How It's Made.

Copper wire is forced through smaller and smaller dies to get it down to size. I'd imagine tungsten wire is made much the same way Edit: lol
