I'm not sure how the mao game is but their other two games, Crisis in the Kremlin and Ostalgie are both very good. I especially like how open crisis is, you can lib it up or go full hardcore trot or anything in between

Like you could make an argument that Russia is authoritarian but you run into the idea of an oligarchy due to the makeup of the leadership, etc etc. It's just people throwing around poo poo from theory because it sounds spooky. Also sorry for voxposting I just like talking about this stuff because it's neat
