Haha go boop is also rad as hell. Sequencers are 100% my favorite music thing if I’ve had a little too much to drink to play piano. Buy a PO-20 with a bottle of something, watch one YouTube video on how to use it and just try not to fall in love.

I bought an Arturia Minilab MK2 a couple of weeks ago to bring with my on vacation so I could mess around with stuff Super nice for browsing through their plugins. Not a bad little thing. I have a Komplete Kontrol (what a stupid name) S49 that I use at home, and am soon going to be working on transplanting the keys/electronics from my Kawai digital grand in to a thinner enclosure to put on a slide out keyboard tray under my desk. The one it comes in is way too tall for that, and no one makes a slimmer one with nearly as good key action (including Kawai). Also I don't want to spend another 3-4k on another keyboard to then rip that one up. It does USB midi and line out so I can use the line out to play it normally, and midi for plugins and whatnot.

I bought a new 32" 4k monitor to have more space for my DAW. Also now my setup is back to being symmetrical which pleases me greatly. I also bought materials and built a keyboard tray for my desk so I don't have to awkwardly try to use it anymore.  Now I just need to finish my mixing console... and buy a finger drummer thing.... and more plug-ins... and a larger desk...

I got an iPhone 13 Pro in Sierra Blue after many years of Nexus/Pixel phones and even using Google Fi for my carrier for years. I’m blown way the hell away. This is even massively superior to my experience using an iPad Pro before I had to sell it a few years ago. Looking forward to loving around with the 3D scanner and SOLIDWORKS at some point in the relatively near future.

At this point if you're vaxxed and boosted and don't mind wearing a mask I don't know what else you can do anymore. We saw American Aquarium down in Louisville earlier this year and I had a blast, even with wearing a mask the whole concert. Those paper surgical ones are such a godsend over the reusable cloth masks, wish I'd figured that one out sooner. Sadly our last show Robert Delong) was cancelled because someone tested positive. As far as purchases go, just bought Bang! the board game after playing it over the holidays! Surprisingly a ton of fun, basically nobody knows which character the others are, and everyone has a different target to eliminate to win:  Nice mix of bluffing, strategy, and getting dicked over by what you draw off the top of the deck

I've used some form of Android phone since smartphones were a thing but I'm open to the idea of changing things up if I hear a good argument for it. I've had iPads on and off for a while, and I can't imagine a smaller one of these being my daily driver. What about the iPhone do you like the most after switching?
