At this point my choices seem to be either say gently caress it and go to parties and probably get covid, or hide away from everything except when I'm at work where I'll still get covid, or quit my job along with my wife and lose my house and end up in Siloam Mission where I'll still get covid. Not everyone is a wfh computer toucher that can get their groceries delivered and cut off all human contact.

my favourite part of the manitoba press conference was telling anyone under 40 that if you feel like you have a cold or flu just assume you have covid and isolate and please don’t get tested because we are out of tests

Taking a packed 511 streetcar to and from work where management has given up on any real mask mandate the entire holiday, but I'm going to just sit at home by myself on Christmas to stop the spread I think having to take any of the "working class bus routes" in TO (e.g. Delano Banton's 45) would very quickly change the outlooks of a lot of people ITT. Just as packed as they were pre pandemic, no one cares about distancing ETA: a lot of them have tried their hardest but these "you gotta go work your job but GO STRAIGHT HOME NO SOCIAL ACTIVITIES" lockdowns won't work and get less effective every time Isentropy has issued a correction as of 18:05 on Dec 24, 2021 |

I remember hearing that all the Richardson Int'l employees were told they had to go back to work because Heartly couldn't stand the fact that the people making him billions of dollars were doing it from home in their PJs instead of from One Lombard in business casual. And yet I'm supposed to spend my time off on my couch because it's the right thing to do.

Ya I gotta say I'd rather my last thought be lmao I'm gonna die but that concert was tite and not lmao I avoided social interaction for two years but got covid anyway because a ski Karen didn't put on their mask until after walking into the store. The day I gave up was the day some old fucker came in wearing a surgical mask... with slashes in it because it kept fogging up his glasses.
