That's the thing! Clinton and James Brown were loving cool with being sampled and cemented their legacy in hip hop as well as funk. Even with Parliament/Funkadelic being wild as hell they are still associated with like Snoop Dogg and G Funk in general. I didn't realize it for a while but their sound is like the backbone of Redman, De La Soul, and countless other hip-hop albums. It's crazy!
