That said...I have no idea if I'm the only person this kind of thing has ever happened to, but when Christopher Smith left legacy Forbes for Sports Business Journal, he recommended I take over his wrestler pay rankings list published during WrestleMania season. I did it last year, and it paid 10x the current monthly minimum for the one article. Good times! If someone really wanted to, they could use the public page view counter to calculate how much he's earning from Forbes Contributor Network on a revenue share/pay-per-click basis. ALSO: From my last conversations with WWE PR people about Forbes.com, they have no idea whatsoever that Forbes Contributor Network is a thing, much less how it's separated from legacy Forbes. That was a couple years ago, but the Konuwa as blatant WWE puppet stuff suggests to me that they're probably still blissfully unaware that, effectively speaking, he's not writing for the actual prestige publication.

The best part of this argument is that these people think Total Viewers SHOULD be the important number because it's a bigger number and obviously bigger number is always better. Except if they did get what they wanted and shows were ranked by Total Viewers, WWE's shows wouldn't even break the top 20 in the charts. They're SO hyperfixated on the Biggest Number that they can't even see that the "Demo" is the reason Raw/Smackdown are constantly topping the ratings charts.
