But her sense of duty is so strong that she just keeps going and would rather die than give up. While the hero sulks in his room.

Lobok posted:Is that an actual screencap from the show? Looks like someone redrew it in MSPaint. A lot of 80s and 90s anime can look a little weird and different now, because we're now seeing the raw scans of what was previously only seen on muddier, darker transfers and screens. It can lead to a bit of a weird vibe, because the quality loss from the transfers became sort of a symbol of quality themselves, while a more direct transfer can sometimes feel a bit more phony because it more closely resembles what fans were making without those constraints. It's kinda like how some official remakes of Final Fantasy games feel like RPGMaker games, just because the technical limitations the original games were under were so iconic that removing them makes them look like the sorts of fan projects and knockoffs that were emulating the style but not the limitations. An example I found recently, comparing an older transfer of a Gundam opener to a newer one. Does a really good job of showing the effect on color specifically: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UjFz7Cxygw

Police as well, but it feels a bit dirty to call theirs a union since they demonstrate zero solidarity with labour in general. Less than zero, really, considering their role in union-busting and strike-breaking.
