best episode is hard, i think if i had to boil it down: 1. The Gang Solves The Gas Crisis 2. Sweet Dee Has A Heart Attack 3. Thundergun Express 4. Mac And Dennis Buy A Timeshare 5. The Gang Gets Trapped kitten mittens, gang beats boggs, gang gets whacked, hero or hate crime are all up there too. lots of good episodes. in fact, its a good show

i don't even remember what episode it is, but the cold open with frank enthusiastically walking into the bar singing "go for it go for it" plopping his revolver down on the bar, and whipping out a bag of coke and going to town with a straw before realizing the gang has been sitting there watching him the whole time. that's the best episode. or at very least the best cold open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n40S4DY914

i watched seasons 1-8 religiously and then somethign broke in my brain and i havent seen any sunny since then outside of this most recent season and the finale from last season so my list is weird and i am sure missing episodes that would otherwise make it on. also theyre in no particular order, theyre all #1 in a completely dead heat the dennis system (cannot believe no one has said this yet) the nightman cometh the gang buys a boat the gang solves the gas crisis chardee macdennis edit: i am a firm believer that the best episodes of the show are the more ensemble ones where there isnt so much an a plot/b plot but the ones where everyone is involved at nearly all times

i don't listen to a ton of podcast shows or episodes or whatever, but as i go through my top 10 movies, games, and albums of 2021 i can't help but think that the always sunny podcast is definitely in my, like, top 5 things that came out this year. what a gift.

Also how they spend almost an entire episode just talking about the parking situation at the office (including stopping the recording so they can go down to the garage to measure the distance Charlie's car was parked from a column.)
