We adopted a kitten a couple weeks ago. Insanely sweet. I'm glad we were in the position to take him on.   Word of advice for anyone planning on getting a pet soon - due to pandemic, lead times are longer than normal for getting spay/neuter/shots. We got lucky and booked before this new outbreak but if we hadn't we would have been scrambling.

Friendly reminder to everyone with long haired cats, to please brush them every day! Long haired coats are not natural on cats, and when they don't get brushed, they swallow too much fur when they clean themselves, and get hairballs, or worse, hair blockages in their intestines!

Speaking of cat art, I found this life size oil portrait at the thrift store today of someone's cat who was obviously loved very much (and if you happen to have a cat that looks like this I will gladly go back and get it for you if you pay for shipping).
