War movies/series are often great for before-they-were-famous cameos because they need boatloads of young relatively handsome men with a modicum of acting talent. Also great for "whoa I didn't know he had/could do that accent. Hardy's bit part is the best cameo of that series, maybe of all time though. Basically his only scene with lines is just him banging the gorgeous French woman.

Yeah, that subject came up in another thread a while back where someone had just watched Platoon for the first time and was reacting to everyone in that (Young Keith David, Forrest Whitaker, Johnny Depp, etc). Also, Tom Hardy basically has two scenes in BoB and the other isn’t nearly as happy where he’s killed in a jeep accident after the war is over and they’re just pulling guard duty.
