It comes under maritime salvage laws. You should contact a lawyer first, these rules are complicated.

Fishing license if they're in the water, driver's license when they're on the road

A fishing license is more a "harvesting wildlife" license, so I'd need one if I happened to be able to just grab a bass out of the water for instance. I would think the same principles apply even if the fish fell out of the sky.

Yikes, you’ve got me beat. I’m north of Seattle, big swings like mine typically don’t happen (at least not this time of year).

That's not fair, though; the atmosphere is the one that harvested it, not you. So the ATMOSPHERE is what needed the license.

What are the rules around - let's say - a friend went fishing, caught a fish without the proper license, then gifted it to you? Is that the same as trafficking in stolen merchandise? Or does the Game Warden just shrug and be mad at the person who did the harvesting?

There's only going to be about a three hour window where it'll be snowing *and* below freezing. Tomorrow night however, everything still on the roads will flash freeze.

I was taking a photography class during a DC winter when it snowed (99 maybe?) and got some absolutely fantastic shots of the soldiers in the Korean War memorial. Looked like they were on patrol on a snowy night.

Plus getting a day off because there is 2 inches of snow rules. Assuming now that the feds have discovered WFH this is no longer a thing.

If you have an active telework agreement you are basically expected to work. They signaled that change before the pandemic started even.

Of course all the area schools are closing for a snow day so, as usual for the last two years, good friggin' luck if you're a parent

Yeah I think that scenario would be frowned upon but I don't know the details on what they would charge whoever with.

Now that everyone is geared up to work from home since COVID hit days off don't exist. You'll have staff like the food courts, janitorial, and others who get a day off but everyone else is either WFH or comes into the office. The guidance is telework if possible and whelp COVID.
