well from the very scant info i can find online from people who've been hit with a 403 error from the site, they never mentioned getting it resolved and have mentioned never getting a response to outreach, and some mention it going on for weeks or more until they eventually stop posting about it lol there was one mass issue about 4 months back but that's the exception to the rule and the only one viz has ever commented on so i don't think it was a related incident it doesnt seem common at all

Most anime never finish the manga story. Traditionally they would go for 26 or 52 episodes or so and then either make up an ending or just go "the adventure continues". IE: the 1st FMA anime versus the 2nd. More recently it's common to split them up into smaller seasons and only continue it if it seem profitable though, most likely because investing in 52 episodes that might flop is seen as too risky these days. True, the only older anime I remember actually going back and finishing the manga story later was Inuyasha (though Urusei Yatsura did do a movie adaptation of the final arc). Though some of the bigger shows like Dragon Ball and Naruto did manage to make it all the way through their respective manga.

It might not be a mailbox that's monitored (webmaster@, postmaster@ and abuse@ often aren't because of spam, even though they're supposed to be), but it's the best idea I can come up with.

Dealt with something similar over the past year and change. My sympathies--with covid and stressing about your immediate circle, getting two deaths in relatively short order just numbs you. I have faith the Somnium sequel will be good, I really like that Mizuki is the protagonist, but I heard that they're trying not to spoil the first game which means Date probably won't be in it at all, which is a minor bummer

only 7 episodes left on sakura quest. the professor  i also watched the first episodes of mieruko-chan and listeners on a lark. listeners i actually.... it doesn't actually seem terrible, but i am extremely biased against CG mecha and also the character designs are a bit odd. it's got that thing where non-major characters look like they're by a completely different artist than the main characters. and they didn't seem composited against the backgrounds super great mieruko-chan actually kind of decent except for the horniness. i guess it's meant to be a pure comedy but i'd be interested in a take on this that is more serious and not horny anyway i got to prune my queue down which is always good except that i added bisque doll, scrapped princess and blue reflection, so it actually got longer lol
