Sure i'll agree the capital-imperialism parts are good, and the ending was pretty good, but as a whole package it didn't really work as a fun experience. it comes hot off the heels of casino royale (which was very good) acting more as a coda, although the previous one was supposed to signify bond turning to emotionless killer guy and cap itself off. detaching itself right off the heels would have helped it. perhaps it was intentional, but craigs performance seemed far more dour flat and that he was having a lot less fun overall with it than in CR. i mean one of the theme is grief but even then i think craig seemed to be going the harrison ford route and only worse in sequels the action is really choppy which is really one of the worst parts: theres about 10 billion edits in the movie where several times it looks like there should be some more dialogue or lingering shots and just cuts. the more underlying water capitalism and not-musk parts aside, the rest of the writing is pretty bad with threads coming and going quickly. i don't know if it was because of writer strike poo poo or what. to cap it off just for some icing, the theme song was one of the worst -- and there's a lot of bad ones. so i guess it depends on what you mean by underrated. rt has it around 64% which seems about right, maybe a sliver or so low. i will say in it's defense, all the post-CR craig bonds have been very bad and retroactively make QoS much better in hindsight. purvis & wade suck poo poo.

I think for me it's one that's gotten better as I've watched it multiple times, which doesn't often happen with Bond films.
