So I started watching my tape in the afternoon, and I fell sleep during the Taker promo. I woke up several hours later, the sun had set, and Taker was still talking about the goddamn desert. My VCR had a loop play function, so I later figured out that the tape must have ended while I was asleep, rewound itself, and auto-replayed while I was passed out, but I still remember it as Taker cutting a 6 hour promo.

The WWE's booking continues to be simultaneously the most insane and the most mundane thing in the universe. Every week, there are at least 5 booking decisions that are just flat-out batshit to me and yet none them are actually interesting enough to entice me to want to hate watch. But like...what is that Hurt Business stuff? Why is heel Doudrop the heel champ Becky's Rumble challenger? Why are they having the most recent WWE Champion pinned clean for any reason, let alone having the heel tell him he doesn't have a chance before the match and then proving it right? WTF is that Alexa segment?

Have the side-partner sub in as a replacement when the main person can't make it to the arena. Have the cheating tag partner wrestle in a tag team with the side-partner under a mask. That sort of thing.
