Saihate no Paladin both missed a week and had a recap episode before finishing the fight against Stagnate. The pacing was just really weird, and if it wasn't for Menel being in the OP, would have thought they were aiming at a half cours series with Will's departure from the ruined city being the ending. As it was, that's when I stopped watching.
