Solving all of life's problems through enhanced casting of Occam's Razor. Reward yourself with an imaginary chalice.

Real-world physics: a rapid temperature change (being on a boat to seawater) can cause muscles to spasm and lock up leading to death, not to mention the impact being disorienting especially due to him being drunk.

How I actually feel: IDGAF how this shakes out I'm just glad something bad happened to Wilbur if only for a moment.

The news around here runs "a cold mountain stream can kill you with just a few feet" PSAs when things start warming up for this reason. Doesn't take much to knock you off your feet, and the water's so cold the shock can keep you from getting back up.

Until I see his dead body at the bottom of the ocean or washed ashore so it can be put into a casket I will refuse to believe he's dead for real.

I want Wilbur's death to be confirmed so we can stop despair posting that a 50+ year old overweight guy so sauced he didn't even think to feel fear as he fell a distance sufficient to knock him unconscious and break a lot of his bones has been able to tread ocean water at night for at least 30+ minutes.

And thanks for posting Aragones, he's a treasure and I love his work.

How dare my terrible son offer to take his sister to skating practice? He might enjoy having the freedom of driving for a bit and we can't have that. Also it's his fault that we're a two-car household where we don't want him driving the fun car and made no contingency plans for if one of us was incapacitated.
