I HAVE BEEN A VERY NAUGHTY BOY

I played it for the first time this year on an emulator with a terrible dead zone on the control stick so I'm looking forward to a playable version, maybe I'll 100% it rather than rush through this time

Meanwhile Banjo Kazooie is fun but God drat this opening drags rear end

You reckon we’ll get Mega Drive games by the end of the month? I can only calculate based on last month that maybe we’ll get some next Thursday/Friday if it follows the pattern after Paper Mario in December.

Majora’s Mask is dope and definitely a must play but it’s probably best experienced blind.

Again a very likpatous story
I started playing Zelda 2 again and I'm determined to beat it this time, the last time I played it I gave up at the Great Palace.

It's a great game and it makes me sad that people think it's terrible for some reason.

Don't despair! You can only get better with practice.

TE has a major problem in that your tetronimos aren't often made unique via colors, just shape. You can change that option, which does shift a bit what you'll see, but it'll help you quicker figure out what piece is which. After that knowing how to use them is just a matter of practice. The game defaults you with only 1 What's Next piece, but you can make that longer. I don't pay much attention to it, since I can't plan ahead, but it does help let you say what you can do or not.

I only played it on that GC disc, and liked it but it was tough. I should try it again. I have trouble with LoZ 1 because it's so sluggish at times, but it's also quite good.

How exactly does this play? It's a GTA-like right? How'd they sanitize that? Can you still cause chaos and then get in great car chases with cops?

Majora's Mask was my favorite game of all time for close to a decade before I gave Bloodborne a fair shot, now it's a solid #2 and still a masterpiece.

Guess it's time to upgrade my membership. I never played Paper Mario so that's a bonus, too.

The answer to this question is entirely subjective. Is it worth it to you in order to play Paper Mario? If yes then yes, if no then no. There's bound to be some lunatic who thought it was worth it for Winback alone

Speaking of BK, I just played through it on Xbox a few months ago but I think I’m going to have to go again already on Switch. The N64 controller just feels so much better and correct.

Can you still get those N64 controllers? I keep thinking I ought to get one and then forgetting to set up an alert wherever I'm supposed to.

It's an open-world mission based game, like GTA. There's a big city you can drive around in, climb on top of stuff, poke your nose into nooks and crannies looking for secrets. You get abilities as you progress through the game that give you access to more and more areas.

As to the rest of it well... firstly you are a cop, but you can still go around and beat up random people and run over passersby with your car. The cops just won't come after you for it.

The humor is what makes it for me, really. It's extremely self-aware late 80s-90s action movie/Saturday morning cartoon schlock. There's a whole sequence that riffs on the Shawshank Redemption, for instance.

Can also say that the input lag in Ocarina is better than it was. Still there, but not an obscene amount like it was at launch. It's at least down to "playable" if not as good as some of the other games that came out pretty much perfectly.

"Hi Everybody!"

Honestly I'm fine with partial fixes for the moment, hoping/assuming they improve further as time goes on of course. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a small team working on the N64 game releases, so finding time to patch existing titles on top of getting a new one ready each month (going by the current trend) is doing pretty well.
