This is the most awe-inspiring hate read I've had in years...do they have versions from previous years available?

For anyone else curious, the screenshot of the table of contents is only half of the total list. You better believe there's also sections about Retail (buying branded clothing...for a digital character?!?!?), Luxury ("Crypto-elites", those who buy expensive NFTs for their twitter profile and will never regret it ever), and Work (stop asking for raises, our office's $120M renovation includes two beehives)

Several healthcare workers get better offers from a new employer. They are at-will employees under no contract.

They give their current employer a chance to negotiate and get no counter offer to keep them. Old employer waits until the thursday before they start then seeks and receives an injunction from the loving courts to keep them from starting at the new job.

The pretext seems to be the new employers "unfair practices" of "poaching employees." They literally think it's cheating to offer better pay and conditions.

"Right to work state" means the bosses have a right to your work.

I said this in the other thread talking about this but one thing to keep in mind is that they can’t force them to keep working their old jobs, just prevent them from starting their new ones. So basically both institutions will be unstaffed. But the point isnt about maintaining the level of care. The point is for the one hospital group to make the other reject future applications from its staff as too much of a hassle to deal with. Or at least that’s my guess at what they’re trying to do

We already have this special surface where I live, the city planner had a huge party to announce we are going to paint a bunch of huge rainbows on the streets and sidewalks.

Now what happens is often the homeless set up shop or fall asleep or heaven forbid, set up their tents on the rainbows. This makes the city planner really mad and he demands the police clean them off the rainbow immediately when he hears about it.

It's funny because this happens EVERY DAY

The only reason this went through is because they went before a judge who's a massive CHUD.

Judge Mark McGinnis got tossed out of his job as a truancy court judge for mocking disabled kids and unilaterally tossing black kids into care without informing their parents.
