It's not even a Canada variant which automatically starts at 4 most of the time. That makes it so much funnier. Of course, geese aren't the only ones who become panicky and hostile when what they perceive as their space is invaded.

I think the angriest I ever got was an 8 when I found a lone goose in the middle of a bunch of cars in a parking lot sitting in and surrounded by broken glass. I walked up to check on it and it did the usual hissing thing, and after a bit it got up and walked away with no signs of bleeding or injury that I could see. As I'm turned around and walking to my car I get fifty feet away and my girlfriend says it took off with a purpose and like a missile it went straight for the back of my head. She didn't think it was actually trying to dive bomb me so she was too late when she yelled "look out!" and it nearly bowled me over. I've heard of magpies doing swoop attacks but nothing the size of a fuckin' Canada goose. It didn't even stick around, it's like it did it out of spite before we both left the area.
