Super fun first round match in IWTV's wrestling gameshow. The format is a bit gimmicky, but the match was solid and technical.

Cody vs Sammy is one of the greatest AEW matches ever and one of the greatest ladder matches ever, what a freaking show those two put on.

The 6 man tag was super fun and got a bump up thanks to the friction between Jericho and PnP.

I think I liked the lights out match more than most, it just really clicked for me. OC showed more of that aggressive side that's been popping up since he yelled at Statlander, Cole came across as an actual psychopath at times, and OC being smart enough to wear a cup was great and retroactively makes all those nut shots worth it. Fun way to debut Danhausen, great handling of the interference spots (they all happened in a cluster and had no relevance on the match itself, but everybody still came out to help their buddies), and the deadly hug to finish things was amazing.

First match of the tournament sees the Junior champ go up against the new Strong Heavyweight champ, the legend that is Okabayashi. You can guess the type of match, Kota is bullied around & is working from underneath throughout, but it's a very good one of those.

Takuya Nomura is the best wrestler you probably don't watch, because of course you don't watch Big Japan, it's a poorly booked nightmare of a company. It makes you long for Gedo & Togo. If Big Japan had booked New Japan for the last 15 years Okada would have had 3 runs with the top belt for a combined time of about 1 year and he'd constantly be made to look like a bitch compared to the NJ Dads.

Anyway, this is primo BJW Strong stuff, the reason why you deal with the bad booking & refusal to get anyone new over. They stiff the hell out of each other infront of 100 people & throw Big suplexes & it rules.

You can watch the show the matches are from here. Sekifuda vs Okabayashi starts at around 1 hour 19 mins if I remember right. The video is kind of janky at times & even loses sound at some point near the climax of the main event but still great

Borderline of HM & MOTYC but the way they crowd got into this in the backhalf has me giving it the nod. Never seen Mack before, think that Shelley good job really getting the crowd behind him 100%. The match itself is pretty straightforward and simple but that is no bad thing. A lot of the match is built around a simple nerve hold that immobilises Mack's left arm.

I've been critical of MLW's underdelivery of Azteca, but they managed to put together a fun AAA title defense by two great breakout lucha stars. Midway through, Vikingo pulls off a dangerous spot that I don't think I've ever seen in wrestling, which is par for the course for him at this point.

- I absolutely loved this, you could feel the hate flowing as these long time tag partners beat the holy hell out of each other

M's Alliance (Naomichi Marufuji and Masato Tanaka) vs Sugiura-gun (Takashi Sugiura and Kazushi Sakuraba)
- Cannot go wrong with these four. Sugi and Tanaka beat the poo poo out of each other, Saku was his usual wily self, and Marufuji was the glue holding it together

Kenoh (c) vs Masakatsu Funaki - GHC National Championship
- Short and brutal, both guys got to throw some hard shots and showed off some cool grappling. And the post-match, talk about a shock

All this, a +1. Haoh vs Nioh was great, watch it.
