It's not trying to be overly clever like Nolan production or anything it just tells a simple story with a neat framing and a really leisurely pace. But it also doesn't beat you over the head with the themes or throw in B plots or weird action beats to keep you engaged.

after two eps I think Peacemaker is aggressively C+. it’s a lot of bashing you over the head with the same joke, which is kind of Gunn’s thing, but at least they’re character/situation jokes and not quippy or improv-talk bullshit. though I’m already bored of Walker’s daughter’s character game, every time she’s on screen it’s the same exact poo poo. the fight between Peacemaker and the lady looked really choppy and awkward which is weird cause Cena was a loving wrestler idk if I’ll pick it back up, maybe if I’m bored at work
