You’ll never convince me that my head cannon theory isn’t true: Lynch was filming each page of the book Dune day by day, as they arrived in the mail to him. Then, eighty days into filming he got the full book and realized it was 800 pages and that he’d only filmed like 30% of it. So then we went into maniac hyper mode and filmed random pieces that he tore out of the book in like a week and then edited it all together

When I was like 8 or 9 I really liked Lynch Dune. I think I just liked anything with weird space poo poo? As an adult I still like it but for the reasons of “what!? huh!?!”
