I am I not right in thinking that all of these polling shifts ultimately don't matter as 30-35% of the country are die hard conservative voters, rich enough and savvy enough to only ever vote tory to keep themselves well off? And that's the magic number to keep them in power forever with fptp.

Yeah, when a GE happens,that bloc votes with their economic interests, no matter what they might say in midterm polling. That's why this energy crisis might have political consequences: people who are normally insulated from that sort of thing are going to get hit hard in the wallet for once.

I think Boris has right hosed up with Saville. That's something you keep for the last two weeks of a GE campaign and he spent it on an extra week in no. 10. By the time of the next GE it will be long forgotten apart from it being bollocks. If Keith had the skill he could have gone with "taking responsibility is what leaders do" but glad he didn't as he would gently caress that right up.

I'm fully expecting this years to be something like 4% - sounds big, but is just another pay cut in a year inflation will get to 7%. So today I finish a deadline and it's friday and I want to drink, but I'm still under house arrest. First time in my life I'm going to do a supermarket shop on Deliveroo. Tbf I do need milk and bread and arse wipes as well. loving RIP my bank balance though. e: Do LFTs show stronger lines the higher the viral load or is it just 'present y/n'? I'm hoping it's a former because the line was slightly fainter today, which hopefully means only another day or two or this nonsense.
