I'm sure the British approach to Ukraine will only reach new heights of chaotic stupidity, but isn't the stuff about nuclear war a bit overblown? We already have plenty of precedent for how a you can make a nuclear power invading another country go horribly badly for them without seriously risking war yourself - just arm, train and fund the gently caress out of the defenders and go 'wasn't me, guv' when the invaders start asking you pointed questions about it. Worked in Iraq, Afghanistan (both times), Vietnam... A much more likely worst-case scenario seems to be MI6-backed Ukrainian Nazis building a presence in Britain and unleashing a whole new wave of domestic terrorism/sensible, evidence-based government policy.
