Racism is a part of it. Just read Ayn Rands thoughts on Arabs or Native Americans. But for the most part this is about the fact that your ideology states there is some sort of objective morality with rigorous expectations while also explicitly saying that the universe has no creator and seeing all religion as a lie.

LF introduced me to GetFiscal and for that I’m forever thankful. Maybe it’s because the average aged poster was younger and full of piss and vinegar, but LF was mean. CSPAM has some irrational angry posts now and then, but in LF people would jump on each other a lot faster and with a lot more hate. That said, it was fun to read and nothing else was like it at the time.
