Helck is a pretty fun light hearted shonen manga with an extremely tedious ending that felt like it lasted for about half of the manga

I think it is a better overall experience now that you can just burn through the endgame rather than waiting for releases, and the actual ending ending I think works well enough as a sendoff for what was built up to that point. Thus it's still better IMO than just about any other shounen in the past decade or so.

The final fight definitely gets a bit too bogged down with final form bullshit but it has a lot of heart and Vamirio and Helck's dynamic was compelling to the end (and also entirely platonic, which was nice).
