Yep, this was discussed. He thinks that as he's giving it away for free, DC won't bother about it. If he does get a cease and desist, the plan is to redraw it all to make it a comic about Garfieldman.

I'm sure the C&D letter and Garfieldman version will grant him a bunch of news articles on pop culture sites and a couple of mildly viral tweets, so that seems like an ok plan.

God, yeah, there's nothing like having headaches for literal years whenever you wake up and taking a sleep test and doctors are like "uh. You literally were not breathing for more than half of the night, you desperately need a CPAP machine". Now I can't sleep without it, which has its own issues, but thank god for it.

Any historians who can clue me in on how much was known about the USSR under Stalin outside of the propaganda at the time? I absolutely love Little Lefty for being so on the money about the United States government while having this big blind spot for the Soviet Union, but I'm assuming it's just because the people involved didn't have all the information we do from a modern perspective. I know EasyEW posted a bit about it here when this artist visited, I'm just curious to know more.

Literally any information anyone in any country could have consumed at the time would be considered propaganda by modern standards. There wasn't even a pretense of journalistic ethics as we know them today.
