Im guessing right now zelensky would probably have preferred not going along with WAR WAR WAR from the US but now its too late. Make concessions and flee the country or get assassinated , or stick around till the false flag happens and he gets a bomb over his head.

It wasn't just German society. The elevated position of Jews in Soviet territory was the main driver of antisemitic violence there. When the Soviets moved in and occupied the Baltic states, local Jewish communists were raised into positions of power in the puppet governments - and Baltic antisemites took that as their cue to do their own little final solution, which the Germans chaperoned. The Nazis thought that communists were all mind thralls of "The Jew" and puppets of the worldwide Judeo-Bolshevik conspiracy. To them killing a communist was the same thing as killing a Jewish person. Everybody targeted by Nazi genocide was reframed by them through an antisemitic lens. So it's more proper to interpret "The Holocaust" as being both a uniquely antisemitic atrocity and universal at the same time.

It only makes sense that the Soviets emphasize that the Soviet Jews killed were part of the same struggle as the millions of other Soviet citizens killed. Soviet soldiers were nearly exclusively the victims of the just-as-appalling POW camps in 1941-2, one does not negate the other and emphasizing the unity I think went a long way to remove the Jew as the “other” in Soviet society. Jews suffering as Soviet citizens makes their survival a part of the Great Patriotic War. Including the other victims of Nazi mass murder is the opposite of denial, it places the Holocaust in context, and Jews alongside Gentiles as victims.
