Dying Light 2 is starting to get a little old so i think I'm gonna speedrun the main questline from here on out. It's a p long game but main quests only you can do it in a couplefew dozen hours. Sifu is short as hell if you're good as hell at it but the whole point of the game is learning how to be good at the game. I'm pretty okay but I just need to play more, sometimes I don't want something that intense. OlliOlli World is the perfect length and the perfect pick up and play game. Best skate game of the year, best platformer of the year as well

Started the tutorial for Crusader Kings 3. Get to the part where it says I need to find a wife for myself. No problem, I find a beautiful lowborn lady named Wulfwynn and we get married, she is now the Petty Queen of Munster. I save and quit the game to desktop because I have to go take care of my real life infant. I come back after some time and pick up the tutorial where I left off. It’s still asking me to find a bride for my character, so I’m a bit miffed that it didn’t save my progress but oh well, let’s find another wife for my guy Murchadd. I find another lowborn woman, a craven gambler, and marry her. I then click on my character screen and Wulfwynn is my wife? Then who did I just marry? Well it turns out that lady is a Secondary Wife, and a few years later she kills my cousin and flees Ireland. What a game.

Much like books, I have too many video games to finish. Hades has absorbed all my efforts because it is amazing but I still need to get back and finish Far Cry 5 and Yakuza 0. I also really want to buy Sleeping Dogs off a recommendation. Having lots of wives is an advantage especially in the early game because if you ever run out of heirs for your dynasty, it's game over, and your culture probably considers children of your secondary wives or concubines as legitimate heirs. I'm currently doing my best to convert all of Britain to norse religion. I want to try to defeat christianity, somehow. Probably impossible, but I'm gonna give it a go!

But really the label is just a container for some specific modifiers, like, how pious they'll be, and how likely they are to participate in plots against you if their opinion of you drops below various thresholds. They're also somewhat mutable. Events and decisions can alter personality traits.

In CK2 it was mostly impossible to completely eliminate a religion, because random events would cause new sects to pop up and occasionally one of them would gain political power, but there's plenty of Norse play throughs on the Paradox forums where Norse was, by far, the dominant religion in Europe and Northern Africa. Later expansions added all of Asia to the map, so compete dominance was nigh impossible.

I've been playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for the past like two months and the game is a bit too much. It's like Baldur's Gate, but with all the absurdity Pathfinder has added to D&D 3rd edition over the past twenty years so you have like 28 base classes to choose from each with 6 variants and there's just... way way way too much going on.

My most trusted courtier is a random Mongolian guy who showed up in Ireland with great, fantastic healing aptitude. I had to blackmail him into converting into Catholicism but otherwise we are inseparable and I trust him greatly. His daughter is a fornicator but I chose to let it slide rather than imprisoning or executing her

Did you make him your court physician? It's always a great idea to get a good medic in that position, makes your current leader less likely to spontaneously die of something.

My wife has 12 unique loans under fedloan that can't be consolidated due to how that would interfere with her public student loan repayment. Anyway you have to pay back minimums on all those loans to have that month's payment qualify. My wife had her payments set up to do this, was briefly in deferral for a month of unemployment, then resumed the payments. When the payments resumed they didn't pay down 2 of the 12 loans, instead splitting the funds that should've gone to those loans across the other 10. This error continued for 6 months before my wife caught it. None of those six months of payment counted toward 10 year public student loan forgiveness because the 2 loans weren't paid and the other loans weren't paid at the minimum. This limited waiver should credit her back those 6 months. Only 2 more years to go! Excited to see what absurd bureaucratic hurdle stands in our way when the time comes.

I really need to dig into this kind of court stuff though. I keep getting swallowed up in fighting wars. The military stuff is kind of frustrating to deal with in this game as a random click can send my army wandering off. Currently working on a Bohemia game and their succession laws suck and I keep loving things up because of it. Took over Hungary with my sons claims and now oops, he’s king of Hungary, which includes his original holdings in Pilsen. How am I going to get that delicious beer now?
