Get some behind-the-counter Sudafed, preferably the 12h stuff. The "PE" stuff is poo poo and doesn't work.

My migraine/sinus headache "cocktail" are two tablets of Excedrin chased with two 30mg "pre-nerf" Sudafed. I don't advise you take it any time before you intend on sleeping.

I'll give it a shot. Today is a brutal one. About to try sleeping through the worst of it.

My personal anti-allergy mix was Bronkaid and zyrtec. Ephedrine feels a lot better for me than pseudoephedrine. More like the mucus become too thin and watery to cause congestion, instead of drying out and getting uncomfortable.

Oddly, phenylephrine (the PE) started working for me once I was in my 30's. Lucky too, because pseudoephedrine (the "good stuff") use within 10 years of dementia onset is associated with worsened dementia, which I am already at significant risk for :smith:

omeprazole is one of those "lying with statistics" things - there are a shiiiitload of unhealthy olds on omeprazole so any correlation with it and stuff like dementia needs to be taken with an enormous grain of salt at a minimum

Topamax gave me a weird side effect of making all carbonated beverages taste flat. my dr couldn’t figure it out. I took it a few different times with a good gap between each one and every time it happened.

I took a medication once that made everything sound about 1/2 tone lower than it was supposed to which was weird as hell

here in KC it was 65 on Wednesday and then we got a foot of snow in my neighborhood lol

yeah I'm staying in a 19th century house right outside of the KC metro, with good heat and no AC

was way too hot indoors the other day, and then suddenly very cold, but everyone seems to be equipped for it and the county is incredibly good at plowing and salting almost everywhere, regardless of neighborhood property value

still haven't driven in a couple days to avoid encounters with such as Cali plates tho
