I've been rewatching Bokurano, and I guess it's just much more dark than I remember it 10 or so years ago when I watched it the first time. I also don't remember there beingthe scene where the student is tricked into having sex with her teacher who is recording everything, and then it turns out he's also sleeping with the older sister.. I remember like the premise being sad right, like these kids who are randomly forced to pilot this robot to save their planet. I don't know if I'm enjoying it, the anime I watched before this was cardcaptor, so this is like totally different. I want to try and read the bokurano light novel later this year.

i finally finished my incorrect Haruhi journey by watching the movie. and it's... actually really good? the animation was even better than in the show too, which was awesome. haruhi good, after all

I think the first 3 episodes go too hard on the shock value stuff in a way that doesn’t quite mesh with the rest of the series but overall it’s been a very fun joyride with some good character stuff imo. I think the episode where Hilda and Ange escape is where I really started to get invested. I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to keep watching after the start though.
