e since my post was the last one in the thread: Is there an easier way to get Mythril in Evolve Idle? That's been the biggest thing bottlenecking me most of the time in the space phase.

You only get mythril through crafting. Iridium is supposed to be a pretty big pain point for a while, so I usually set it up with a large storage once I get it and ensure I’ve set up trade routes so I’m getting at least 1/second after my mythril crafter (or two). But I’ve been doing gold star runs for so long I don’t even remember that you can manual craft most of the time.

Iridium doesn't stop being a pain until post-truepath when you pick up Iridium Smelting from doing three reset tiers with it.

Mythril is definitely the reason you want the first two crafting perma-upgrades before you go into space but after that point it's not too bad -- the main thing you need it for is to hit a couple thresholds for researches but by the time you're actually building the Genesis Ship I feel like Nano-Tubes and Neutronium are usually the main bottleneck

See, I can buy Iridium reasonably. The problem I'm having is keeping up enough of an Alloy supply; my Alloy constantly craters when I have anything that requires Mythril and Alloy often ends up being almost as expensive to purchase, if not more so, than Iridium, so I'm not sure what the hell I'm supposed to do about it.

Your first Bioseed is always hard and there's nothing really else for it besides smashing your face against it. You'll soon hit a point where it all suddenly gets much smoother once your multipliers hit critical mass.

Are you taking advantage of governments? Usually near the end of a Bioseed I'll switch to the capitalism one that gives you a big boost to factory production. Your tax income takes a major hit but casinos and tourist centers get a bonus so you want a decent number of those in order to take advantage of it. If they're enough to keep your income going, you can set taxes to 0% and get a bonus 10% morale boost to take advantage of it

Same point still applies :v: Also yeah Corpocracy is very good for bioseed. You'll want to swap between it and socialism depending on what you're doing at the time until very-late game when Theocracy takes over everything.

My script just seems to autocraft instead of using craftsmen which seems bad since craftsmen get a better ratio :negative:

I'm not sure what knob to twiddle to force it to use craftsmen but I guess once I'm doing 3* it won't matter anyway.

Craftsmen get a better ratio? I thought manual craft used whatever boots and bonuses craftsmen give.

I've encountered the same; I think it considers "Space Government" to mean "post-Bioseed space". Personally I just sigh at it, disable the automatic government swaps, and swap manually when I get far enough into a Bioseed that I'm not concerned about knowledge caps.

One of these days I should also do some max-buildings or weightings customizations, because as it stands right now, it saves up for and spends resources on some pretty loving inconsequential poo poo, forcing the useful stuff to wait that much longer. I basically shut off AutoBuild when I get past the point where I would MAD.

Still rolling through NGU Idle, I've made it to boss 230 or so on Normal and at the moment I'm just working on pushing my highest boss up while clearing Laser Sword challenges and doing quests. I've just reached the point where I can autokill the Beast, and I figure after I max out laser sword I can do some more levels on No Rebirth and No TM, maybe get that extra digger slot from No TM and get Beast respawns down to 120 or 90 minutes.

In the meantime, though, I'll probably have 225,000 AP sometime this weekend, and I'm having trouble deciding what to spend it on -- a sixth digger slot, a fifth beard slot, or an eighth accessory slot? I'm leaning pretty heavily towards "accessory" since I just got my first Ascended⁴ Pendant and I want more and bigger stats to push further into Adventure and maybe someday take on the Chocolate World and Beast V2, but I've gotten some good advice here in the past so I figured I'd ask.

AccSlots are usually the biggest immediate noticeable upgrade. The others will still be things you need eventually. The only other thing I'd check you had was the Hearts that give bonuses to the features you have unlocked. Red, green, yellow, and orange will be the most useful for now, and I might think about orange instead of the Accessory slot and definitely ahead of the digger/beard.

Oh, I completely forgot about the hearts -- I already have red and yellow. Green for the ITOPOD bonus would be nice, and I think that's higher priority than orange, since I don't even have automated idle questing unlocked yet. So, green or another acc slot. Thanks for the reminder!

So I've been playing Perfect Tower 2 over the last week or so, and holy poo poo I haven't been this addicted to an idle game in a long time.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1197260/The_Perfect_Tower_II/

The game is pretty similar to NGU or Anti Idle, where you're constantly bouncing between screens trying to juggle multiple different resources/upgrades.

Just a huge warning since I had to restart. When the game gives you three options (Idle, Mixed, Active), always pick the "Idle" option dead last. It is absolutely worthless until much, much later.

The tower part is boring and lame, the real game is in the factory and automating as many town screens as possible.

Let's go explorin' little dude!
In the Civics tab in the right side where it usually says "Government" there will be another label "Governor" once you have the tech unlocked. Click that label to start selecting one from a list with a bunch of bonuses and a drawback for each. Switching governors requires (a small amount of) plasmids so I don't tend to pick something unless I'm planning to stick with it the entire run.

That being said, none of them really stand out as the MAD-specific Governor pick. Soldier if you're active in raids, Media since you aren't going to be relying on ARPA projects, maaaaybe Spiritualist for the increased basic resource income.

*shrug* Basic resources that use your citizens gets sidelined as an occasional thing once you're into Space but it still has the Factory worker production bump which remains useful throughout. The only ones I wouldn't run at this point are
- Criminal, where the cost creep reduction doesn't seem worth it to losing a 1/5th of your income.
- Noble, because the money costs are generally the blocker for building for me and the extra Citizen per Mansion for +.25 MW feels pretty limp
- Bureaucrat; I've rarely needed all three governor slots much less a fourth.
