With woodies vs nurgle. Now the new FA rules say that if you declare a blitz actions you have to pass FA before you move. If you fail, you don't even get to move. No thrower and all that disturbing presence.

I finally have a space to run my Mars 2 Pro printer again in my apartment, and I go to print out some of the stuff I've been waiting on printing since I moved...

The loving light bulb isn't working. Despite my very careful packing, it must have somehow broken. Now I need to figure out how to replace it. Argh.

It's a good one! I've printet several thousand points on my Mono, and a plate of infantry takes like 20 minutes, it's great!
There's a thread for miniature printing over here, if you run into problems. https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3959573

OOOOH poo poo thanks! I didn't even know that existed. I'm terrified that I'm about to be drowning in tiny tanks and mechs.

Um...while the paint scheme is very cool, you might want to reconsider the name.

In other news, Harlequins are getting Kill Team Rules in next issue of White Dwarf.

The alternative name for the drink in Ireland is apparently the Half-and-Half, which would lend itself well to puns.

Half-and-Halflings would definitely work.

That’s scary. They’re already a top 3 team, getting more specialists and such will probably secure them as the best team for a while.

They're going to be terrifying. Look at what they gave the Wyrmblade cultist list:

quote:

Cult Ambush
During the first Turning Point, when this operative is activated you can change its order.

The first time this operative performs either a Fight or Shoot action in each of its activations, if its order was changed from Conceal to Engage during that activation, in the roll Attack Dice step of that combat or shooting attack, you can reroll any or all of your attack dice results of one result (e.g. results of 2).

That's an odd mechanic, but it could really help... if you roll doubles or triples of something that's a miss. The whole list gets this ability, so I can see loading up on shooty models and putting them in Conceal with good firing arcs. That was already a good tactic, but with possible extra re-rolls it's a bit better.

The same issue of WD also had objective cards for the new missions in the latest Chapter Approved. It's nice to see them properly supporting their new "seasons" strategy.

Or at the very least run the risk of your opponents getting free chants and a fight song. But I agree the Half and Halflings is an excellent name.

Yeah, it was my very first GW thing, and it is pretty awesome. If you can Count Thrashula, get two, that way you can build all the options for the Vet Guard, who are an amazing team that you'll want them all for.

May I ask why? IIRC the expansions aren't even new tiles, just new monster models.

Dunno if I'd buy the guard alone, it's not much more to buy the kt starter and sell the orks/tokens/possibly mini rulebook.

I recommend that you start with DG, then Orks, then IG. Messiest to most precise painting. It's a nice way to ease into it.

Same. I have zero desire to play 40K in its current state, and KT still allows me to play in that world without committing to all the associated baggage.

Exactly. I've already got a substantial Blood Angels army, and at this point I'll probably just make up some Kill Teams to scratch the "new army" itch every now and then.
