Nothing more satisfying than opening a meeting by describing the boomer-man's brilliant idea and following up with '...and this would be great but we can't do it because it would be embezzlement or fraud.' That he was the treasurer, responsible for financial oversight, and had been questioning whether or not he and the rest of management were insured from 'legal risks' was in hindsight a bit of a red flag.

I had a manager who repositioned his entire department so that he was sitting in a corner and the rest of the room had their desks facing backwards toward him so that he could sit and watch your computer screens all day and make sure you didn't take a break away from work. People got threatened or fired if they ever rested. He thought a culture of violent fear was the best motivator. I already mentioned this loving dumbass prick before when I mentioned how he'd walk up and down the aisles between desks slapping a yard stick against his hand menacingly while staring at us. He'd do dumbfuck poo poo like disobey the CEO's orders about how to stop loving up or would get into actual screaming matches with the software development crew for not pushing code fast enough for his tastes because he just thought they needed to simply write code faster for longer hours. He was an unimaginable piece of poo poo and years after he was fired and shown the door, people still talked about how much they wished he'd meet the front of a bus at high speed.

The company I work for uses Yammer and has an "All Company" bucket that has included important discussions on: - "How to properly load into an elevator." Remove your backpacks so more people can fit, ladies first please, and maybe just wait for the next one if the current one is full. - "What good gentleman clubs are near offices and can you expense them if on a business trip?" No you cannot expense it, unless you take a client, also remember to ask your taxi or uber driver for recommendations. Both of these had hundreds of responses to them and were on the top for days, so these are an effective use of people time.

C, depending on the current negotiation, legal framework in your country of business, and ongoing drama, it might be a sound management decision to take the bribe in a way that's recorded and use it to extort better terms out of them. Best to ask management if a business ratfucking can be facilitated. Also be sure to ask in writing, so if they decide to push you under the bus if there is blowback, you can state that you did so under orders.

I had to test some web app bullshit that got deployed and all my test certs either redirect me somewhere dumb or give an error.
