drat, it's really amazing how consistent the various sightings are over decades and distance. The cigar we saw was similar in size with a metallic surface like hammered aluminum, but it also had massive rectangular red lights running down the side. It has almost been 10 years since then and the scene is still vivid in my mind. I still find it strange that nobody from the refinery reported anything though I and my friend didn't after driving under the thing. This is probably how many events end up going undocumented.
