anyway, in the last episode, its amusing that at the end, they are talking about growing inequality between the rich in cities and rural peasants/farmers. and the problems of migrating factory workers. like, a quarter century later it seems like they are doing p good?
the tiananmen protests are portrayed as reformers of FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY, but then they interviewed some dude not from the city and hes like, 'when i got back to my village, my mom and grandma didnt understand wtf i was protesting about' cuz his mom said the only reason he even went to college was cuz of deng's reforms.

also, i checked up on a rock star guy that was featured prominently in the last episode and it seems like hes been politically rehabilitated and is doing fine now? lol

kind of surprised theres a legal distributor for the winnie the pooh show in china given that its not exactly a high interest product i dont think it even had a legal distributor in the united states before disney plus just because until recently disneys official policy on all the old poo poo they had rights to was to hoard it in their dragon lair so they could use the artificial scarcity to keep prices high
