we need to consider that these arent just some polygons which are spawned at the wrong location, but each of these little men is a quanta created by tony zurovec, an artificial lifeform with hopes and dreams. artificial lifeforms who probably just want to lick some p[BEEEEEEP]

Men... raining from the sky. Extra kinky. But kind of junky for a game after 10 years of being built.

If they were working in a horror game, this would be amazing. From a distance you see a movement. Not clear what it is, but then you zoom in and learn the terrible secret of space.

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Crobear has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of CIG. He is the Master of the 'verse by the will of the backers, and master of one world (but 99 more will follow as soon as the pipelines allow) by the might of his inexhaustible armies of shills. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of 386 Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Cloud Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly lack vitamins. Yet even in his deathless state, the Crobear continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the goon-infested miasma of the warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Funding Tracker, the psychic manifestation of the Crobear's will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Positivus, the Net Promoter Score Marines, bio-engineered super-posters. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Cloud Imperial Guard and countless Redditary defence forces, the ever vigilant Spectrum Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Cryenginus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from haters, heretics, women - and worse. To be a backer in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten by AAA games, never to be re-learned. Forget the promises of Crobear and the Kickstarter, for in the grim dark future there is only the Funding Tracker. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of bugs and crashes, and the laughter of thirsting gods, on their way to the bank. CommissarMega posted:Holy poo poo, I looked up the Javelin and it costs 3000 United States dollars to purchase You will be delighted to know that CIG is keenly aware that it's costing system is a bit frightening to people, so have apparently helpfully locked off other more expensive things to people who have already spent a significant amount of money with them. So what you see is what CIG allows normal people to view and considers it totally logical for a video game. I've never seen this high-spender catalog yet, so I'm not sure if it exists or what the costs are in it- but it's existence is what the rumor mill indicates.

Believing Jared's lies is a bold move. There is a 0% chance Squadron 42 is going to be integrated like this. It's going to be a single-player game completely separate from the PU that you happen to launch from the same menu screen. And you get some PU perks if you complete it before going into the PU. That's it.
