However I have mostly stuck to taking existing recipes and modifying for my ingredients, not straying too far from palm oil + coconut oil + olive oil. I just plug it into soapcalc.net and adjust until the numbers are in the correct range. I have been thinking about getting one of these bevels from Ali to shape my edges but I think I might be able to make one and I’ve really enjoyed this as a very DIY hobby, spending weekends making the tools I need. I spent far too long on dimensions of the molds and calculating volume the first time around as it has been a long time since high school math. I just got some ground pumice (not from Ali) last week and planning on trying my own version of solvol (mechanics soap type stuff), as they stopped making bars in Australia.

Hey thread - my oldest kid who is too cool for me anymore (she is only 12 but almost 6 feet tall) Yeezys came in. She did not ask for them but I asked her what shoes were cool at her school. I beg her all the time do you want to go pick out clothes or shoes and always no. I have to tell y’all, these came in and she put them on and wore them throughout the house. She was happy! Yes she knows they are fake or replicas but it’s the whole box with the keychain and stockx stuff. She was freaking stoked. Well worth the price and I’ve been wearing my white pair all the time bc no lie they are 5 times more comfortable than my pumas. Very very glad I got these for her. Again she knows they aren’t $300 shoes but they drat well look like it. Got the tail light color which I have too but I have not worn. I got the 45 1/3 for her I wear the 47 and wouldn’t get smaller for either of us (yes we are tall)

I love using Aliexpress and Wish for crafting projcts. Everything I used to make this Biblically accurate angel Christmas tree topper I bought on Wish. It lights up, too, but I don't have any batteries at hand.

The clip will (hopefully) attach to the top of this years tree, and as there's a battery box there won't be any wires. You can't see it but I wrapped the light bulb in plush stuffing and glued a big eyeball to it so the light glows rather than just lightbulbs.

You're welcome!! I gotta say all this love has made my week. Keep in mind that the foam rings will need to be carved a little to make them fit. Don't worry if they break or the carves are ugly, you'll be wrapping them in white yarn so it won't show.
