I took the octopath less travelered,

And it made one-eighth the difference.
Seahawks will be fine, they'll just follow the Kawalimus Drafting Strategy and simply draft another Russell Wilson.

I heard on the radio apparently Washington offered a package comparable and possibly superior to Denver but Russ NTC’d them.

Seattle was still a top 10 team in DVOA (insert "DVOA is bullshit" arguments) last year, so I'm guessing the FO convinced themselves if they can get a stopgap QB and replace a few other spots, they'll still be competitive.

That probably won't happen, but that's the thought process!

I expect the staff has convinced themselves that they made Wilson and they'll be competitive without him.

Maybe they think he's done since he can't scramble quite as much as he used to but you don't create the most beautiful deep ball in the league and the entire experience of RWBS (when it worked) through coaching alone. I can't imagine they're quite that dumb.

You quite obviously aren't coaching up the Drew Locks of the world like that even if they have the arm in theory.

Luckily it's not like Seattle is in a competitive division with three playoff teams so they should be fine!

Supposedly he didn't want to come to the east coast at all so I would've be totally surprised if Washington was one of many.

They're either gonna resign Geno, roll with Lock, draft a QB at 9 (or move up for one), or some combination thereof I think.

Oh I either never heard about that or forgot it (which wouldn't be that surprising).

Then they probably roll with Lock and draft someone, have a competition and either sit or start the rookie (or start the rookie at some point during the season once Lock disappoints)

We need more women in STEM, and by that, I mean skateboarding, television, esports, and magic.
I appreciate most of the annoying NFL offseason storylines getting wrapped up a tidy bow today.

Now if only Watson could gently caress off, Snyder could get canned, and Flores could win his lawsuit, we'd be set.
