One tiny positive to come from the Ray Rice incident, or more from their being video of the Ray Rice incident, is that he never played again. An even smaller positive is that the Ravens haven't even sniffed a dude with assault or harassment issues since. Of course since I say this it's about to come out that Mark Andrews has a Buffalo Bill style dungeon in his basement.

Who is Deshaun gonna throw to besides Cooper? We let Landry and OBJ go. Let Hooper go. We can’t draft high anymore and the Browns suck at picking players unless it’s obvious like a Myles Garrett. Most hosed thing is if Watson sucks for 1 year and assaults his way out of the league yet has a huge contract. Man Haslam you some poo poo I hope we trade Baker to the Colts and let him be happy

I still don't get teams treating Watson like he's not a big gamble. He's a chance taking gunslinger that uses his speed to buy time who hasn't been near football in a year. Now playing in a Shanahan style system that is all about making the right/conservative choice. Even ignoring the off-field stuff, which you shouldn't, I would not be confident that Watson will be the top ten QB he was.
