If the new aerodynamic rules really have made a big improvement, there's going to be so much more racing this year and Verstappen will end up crashing in to more people. This will be a good outcome.

I only got 76 points because I hedged my bets a bit which was stupid. Should have done what I did last year and use my mega driver in the first weekend.

The real question is how many of these cars will fall apart on track tomorrow.

Ethiser posted:The real question is how many of these cars will fall apart on track tomorrow. The Ferrari and Red Bull have seemed rock solid so far, but with Max on the front row there’s a decent chance many of them don’t make it past the first corner. The hydraulics problem with KMag’s car doesn’t bode super well for the race.

Very hard to predict how any of those cars will hold up under full race lap count while pressuring each other with new regs affecting overtake. It should be fun. But of course, because it seems this way now, it means it's almost guaranteed to somehow find a way to suck tomorrow.

Let us come together and support the late 80s/early 90s ideal of Ferrari, McLaren and Williams one day being the top three again and battling it out above these other imposter teams. OK it could still take a few years.
