Just hit the 2 months mark since ordering my RP2+  Outlook seems pretty grim for this thing showing up before April at this point. I get why, but it’s a bummer.

I'm just under a week behind you on the RP2+. They're going to miss that 37 day estimate by quite a bit. If I get it by the summer I'll be happy. I wouldn't have had much time to pay with it before then anyways.

There’s a reason he shows off Wind Waker, it runs smooooth now. I upped it from the new default of .5 to .6 and I still get very close to a rock solid 30fps.

the rg351p has been cool. i wish n64 emulation wasn't a shitshow but i can at least play banjo kazooie. and certainly there's plenty of other systems that run fine so i'll just stick to what works best on it

 I've had a blast with the 351p for the last couple of months, it's great. I see why people have more than one though, a larger screen for SotN and other home consoles would be nice. Hopefully the Steam Deck pushes these companies to keep innovating

Was not impressed with the Yaba Sanshiro 2 emulator on my RP2+ I'll probably have to watch those guide videos(ugh) to figure out how to configure it properly. Burning Rangers runs like poo poo.

I read a reddit thread asking about when people's Polymegas are expected to arrive and they were using some logic by which the company said something around "people who order now will get theirs in the 2nd half of 2022"  therefore everyone who ordered before then will get theirs by June... I don't know if I buy that logic and I expect (those of us with 2021 orders) still fall into 2nd half 2022. Anyone get theirs yet? The company seems quiet lately.

tried out the Dolphin Gamecube emulator on my retroid rp2+. Animations and audio got real janky during the Super Robot Wars GC cutscenes. It doesn't feel ready to go just yet. It was easy enough to configure, however.

I think every other saturn game I've tried has been just fine, though?

i ultimately went with the rg351p because the RP2+ seemed like it was gonna take a while to ship. like the website still says 'preorder' and that deliveries will take 35 days before even starting to ship. the anbernic got to me within just 4 days

Between Chinese New Year and the occasional lockdowns they’re just now shipping orders from the first half of January. The RP2+ is pretty loving good for the price but I’m glad I bought the RG351MP first so I haven’t been *waiting* for it and had something to play with.

I got my SteamDeck today. It's...very heavy. It's still just as cool as people say it is, but the weight basically makes it almost impossible to not rest your hands while you play it.

Tbh that’s pretty much how I use my Aya Neo anyway. I saw a video on 3ds emulation on the deck and it was ok but not as good as I thought it would be. I have to assume the emulator needs some work.

I think the main 3DS emulator, Citra, is still in the "making sure games work" stage as opposed to the "optimization so people can actually run it" stage.

Well some of the games run pretty good and he did mention shader compilations with some of the shudders. I’m sure the deck is powerful enough for it once they get things nailed down.

Pretty significant delays with Ayn Odin shipping I think I’m going to cancel my order. I already have a 351p and a new 3ds so I don’t necessarily need one, I just thought it was a neat idea. Plus I’m moving to another state soon and it definitely wouldn’t get to me in time.
