It's amazing. This was supposed to be Micheal's moment. Three Saint Patrick's Days as Taoiseach and he finally gets to be the big man on stage and have the photo op he absolutely craves. His last two chances were robbed by restrictions. This was his last chance! He has to swap with Varadkar in a few months! This means the last FF Taoiseach to have met with a US President will have been Cowen. Doubt the next leader will be anointed as Taoiseach the way all other leaders have been.

Got 60 euro worth of groceries for family, walked out to find I was clamped for 120 euro for being 10 minutes. Jobseekers allowance gone instantly. Have appealed on the grounds of disability, will never shop there again, will raise a stink forever onwards. gently caress you, I'm a socialist now. And gently caress RFC car park management too.

RFC car park management are absolute cunts. Good luck ever getting money back off them though. My girlfriend lived in an estate that was originally free parking, then the residents association brought in that crowd for managed parking to force homeowners to pay up their management fees. Anyway they only allotted 24 hours parking per week for visitors which was easy to burn through if I stayed over night. Got clamped because I stayed after using up the weekly hours. Found out months later when the parking went back to normal that the residents never had authority to bring in clamping. The company had been illegally clamping cars but when I rang them up they said it wasn't their problem and if I wanted the money back I had to get it off the people who hired them.

They do the parking for where I live too and we have almost the opposite problem where they won't park or tow the out of towners who block the paths and the road in to us parking for the airshow or summerfest but were very happy to clamp 3 abandoned cars. 2 of which sat in parking spaces for around 4 or so years until the management company had them towed. They got all mossy and weird, the windows fogged up from more moss growing inside and one of them barely had any tires left

Can't believe Freedom Day was less than a month ago. 28th Feb masks and restrictions were entirely ended marking the end of the pandemic. Since then we've seen 7% of all Covid cases since the pandemic began in what is called the "exit wave".

Like everything FFFG have done in the last 9 or so months has seemed premature anyway but dropping masks entirely in Feb just boggled my mind. Masking up is so easy and it seemed so effective, what did they expect to happen?? So now what's the move? If it gets worse I don't think people are gonna put them back on as easily. (I've been wearing mine normally but I've been wearing one since like Feb 2020)

Once the genie is out of the bottle it's hard to put back in. Masks should have been kept for shops and public transport at least.
