That's an excuse they can throw out as some perceived transgression to justify them just being lovely to someone. Tay was getting coordinated harassment before her and Sammy were a thing because she posts thirst traps and left NXT and was held up as an example of how bad the performance center is. Sammy said the incredibly lovely stuff about Sasha Banks years ago so they both have priors, however legitimate, for being targeted by the worst kinds of stans and fandom people. Nobody engaging in this actually cares about Pam or even knew who she was either before the breakup was made public or the proposal segment.
