I doubt anyone was ever elected to Congress by running on a platform of improving out wartime shipping capabilities (p.s. if I ever run for office this will be my Day 1 legislation alongside tying minimum wage to the rate of inflation).

Chep pallets were my faverate thing to lift into racks because I knew they would not fall apart. More than once I had cheap pallets crack and rain down cases of food product onto my head. Fortunately there were safety bars above me, but it was pretty loving unnerving.
