Yeah, I’m catching up on his archive and he’s been surprisingly decent on this and essentially screaming that Berry and Stefanski deserve a lot of scorn for not killing this thing, especially with how much was given up. Looks like he’s changed a lot from his PD days. No less than 3 articles about how bad this makes them look. If I remember correctly, he also had a decent line with Baker, so it wouldn’t shock me that he’s lossy about that too.
