Well, as of today, in the least surprising new release news to ever happen, BigPlanesKits announced a Bayraktar TB2 in 1/72 scale, while ClearProp Models has one in 1/48. I also need a tractor combo kit too, as opposed to just two kits, with decals.

Pwned by my American knowledge of geography. Edit: Having looked at a map I think my point stands. There are two options for this effort: France sails several warships escorting several cruise liners set up for bulk people moving through the Kerch Strait and dares Russia to do something about it. Otherwise, if they are just begging for Russia to let them through and then it’s just so much fluff. Murgos fucked around with this message at 01:11 on Mar 26, 2022 |

Yeah I didn't mean to imply that it would trip article 5 or anything, but it would also not be that bright to gently caress with any of those countries carrying out a cooperative humanitarian flotilla. You know, just like it's not very bright to invade your neighbor assuming you'll win in 2 days and not have any backup plan.

They don't teach you that at business school, they teach the opposite. Morons that don't understand that lesson try to reduce costs in the dumbest and most short-sighted ways. An MBA may see you as a cog, but an MBA that actually paid attention in class instead of just using it as a drinking and networking session should know the best way to get the most value out of those cogs is to make sure they have what they need to perform the best.

A second problem would be students light on experience trying to understand organizational behavior classes while lacking a context for them.

The Five Points in NYC is one of the biggest pallet repair hubs in the country. Industrious people (centered near the import docks and markets of fruit and vegetables for the entire city) will take free broken pallets (or pay a dollar each). Pay a worker a dollar to repair them. Then sell pallets for three bucks. This was the actual rate as of like 2012. Lord knows what these huge yards of shattered soft wood do now

Murgos posted:I'd have to imagine that having the better parts of 2 CAAs worth of assault forces in a pocket would give Ukraine a bit more heft at the negotiating table. Even if Ukraine fully succeeds in cutting the road, Russia can still always get the men out. Ukraine does not have the troops actually surrounding the forces, the lay of the rivers and bogs just means there's only one way for them to move vehicles in or out, and Ukraine can already shoot arty on that road, and might just cut it outright. If that happens, the Russian troops can evacuate by driving north as far as there is road, and then doing an afternoon's hike through a bog, including ~30m of swimming. The only way those men end up prisoners is if they decide they'd rather be in Ukrainian captivity than leave. Still, abandoning 2 CAAs worth of heavy equipment is embarrassing enough.

I feel like I'm too online because I got this. I finished my MBA in 2020 and the cult of just-in-time was just about to face its reckoning from the global supply chain fuckling. I got to see the open office trend live and die between undergrad and postgrad; business school curriculums are amusingly faddish if you take the long view. I've gotten to the point where I can break down HBR articles in my sleep- simplistic paradigm, 3-5 step model based on it, some anecdotal evidence with a smattering of data, pseudo-Gladwellish conclusion.

Ignoring the sanctions, won't this have killed any future demand for Russian arms from other countries ? Very visible constant and repeated failure will kinda hurt demand. I appreciate there are many other issues related to the failures such as training/logistics etc, but who wants to buy the crap that lost. Even small arms are likely cheaper from China.
