I also got that alert, and I'm up in Fort McMurray. I went into my Android settings and turned off amber alerts and left the other emergencies on, not sure if that'll work in Canada but it's worth a shot!!

That cartoon would almost be charming if it weren't meant to be offensive and probably homophobic. I'm sure there are valid criticisms of the deal but it's funny to me that some people are so offended by the idea of 'different parties working together to achieve something they agree on' in itself.
