I believe they still test before shows but I'm not entirely sure - they certainly were at some point. If so then I guess they'd catch this if it happened there although it was the best part of a week ago so there's a strong chance they caught it since that show.

There are a few Joshi wrestlers who use it (a few of the new AWG people, believe Kaho Kobayashi did) and it’s more a thing that they present themselves in a more masculine manner rather than a sign that they are trans or non-binary. One of her current names is “brilliant and beautiful woman” or something along those lines and she’s had a few like that. It’s a good lesson that concepts that exist in English aren’t necessarily universal (pronouns work differently in Japanese as does the way you might present yourself in the language) and to not make assumptions based on that assumption.

The speculation I've seen is Haruka Umesaki but I don't know about that one; I don't know if she'd really fit there. The funny and feel good answer would be Yoshiko Hasegawa: she's ex-AWG and in fact the only 2019-21 AWG debut (excluding the new generation people) to not be in Stardom. I think it unlikely because she has been out long term with a serious neck injury but if she came out I'd be rooting for her.
